Obituary for William McCoy Conley
William McCoy "Coy" Conley, age 68 of Spencer, Tennessee passed from this life on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at his home.
William was born Wednesday, October 1, 1947 in White County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Andrew Conley and Ruth Foster Conley.
William is survived by his;
wife of almost 50 years - Joephine "Josie" Martin Conley
son - William Andrew Conley
2 daughters - Sherrilyn "Sissy" Davis and husband Randy of Spencer
Bridget Sharell Harvey and Jeff Walker of Greenville, TN
4 grandsons - Bubba, and John John Davis, Timothy Conley, and Eric Walker
3 granddaughters - Brittany Davis, Lashay Harvey and Kendra Conley
several great grandchildren and special friends
5 sister-in-laws - Nell Brown, Judy Denney and husband Kenneth, Charlotte Hillis and husband Hugh, Peggy Rigsby and husband Bruce, and Rella McCoy and husband Brad all of Spencer
special mother-in-law Ludean Martin
several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by special father-in-law Elmer Martin, brother Edgar Conley, sister Louise Woody, brother-in-law Freddie Martin, and a great granddaughter Makensie Davis.
A Funeral service will be at 2 PM on Saturday at Spencer Funeral Home with Wayne Sullivan officiating. Interment will be in Martin Cemetery, Spencer, TN.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 9 PM on Thursday, July 14, 2016, Friday from 8 AM to 9 PM and Saturday from 8 AM to 2 PM at the Spencer Funeral Home, 16000 Hwy 111 N., Spencer, Tennessee.
