Hobert Lee Dunlap, Sr., age 76 of Spencer, Tennessee passed from this life on Monday, September 12, 2016, at his home.
Hobert was born Monday, October 2, 1939 in Spencer, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Fred Dunlap and Sopha Simmons Dunlap.
Hobert is survived by his;
wife - Nina Thacker Dunlap
son - Brian Keith Dunlap
3 daughters - Kim Cantrell and husband Scott
Sandy Bouldin and husband Tim
Beth Roberts and husband Jerry
5 grandchildren - Ashley Cantrell Dearinger, Kayden Reigh Dunlap, Joshua Cantrell, Maggie Meigh Dunlap, Elijah Allen Roberts.
sister - Robbie Maggard
2 brothers - Gordon Dunlap and wife Reba
Charlie Dunlap and wife Ruby
many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
In addition to his parents, Hobert was preceded in death by his sister Fredia Stevens.
A Funeral service will be at 1 PM on Wednesday at the Spencer First Baptist Church located at 1021 Old Dunlap St Spencer, Tennessee 38585 with Nathan Haynes officiating. Interment will be in Spencer Town Cemetery, Spencer, TN.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 PM on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at Spencer Funeral Home, 16000 Hwy 111 N., Spencer, TN, and again Wednesday from 9 AM to 1 PM at the Spencer First Baptist Church.
