Obituary for George McMurray Quick
George McMurray "Mack" Quick, age 78 of Nashville, Tennessee a native of Spencer, passed from this life on Sunday, April 2, 2017, at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
Mack was born Wednesday, October 5, 1938 in Spencer, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Lloyd Quick and Mary S. Mancy Quick.
Mack was a Hairstylist and barber at Macy's
Mack is survived by his:
wife - Colleen Binkley Quick
daughters - Datheny Quick
Roxanne Simpkins
3 brothers - Tom, Carlos B, and Steve Quick
3 grandchildren - Jessica, Jacob and Harley
great grandson - Michael
many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
In addition to his parents, Mack was preceded in death by his brother Don Northcutt and a sister Eva Daubenspeck.
A Funeral service will be at 1 PM on Thursday at Spencer Funeral Home with Gene Brock officiating. Interment will be in Spencer Town Cemetery, Spencer, TN.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 9 PM on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, and again Thursday from 8 AM to 1 PM at Spencer Funeral Home, 16000 Hwy 111 N., Spencer, Tennessee.
