I met Edith and Ed probably 20 years ago when they use to pick Mrs. Nancy Hillis up for church. They were a precious couple who I got to know better as the years passed. Ed had this marvelous garden that he loved working in every minute and Edith helped put those vegetables up for the winter months. After Ed's passing Edith's health started to further decline and she didn't get out as much as she used to. Her niece, Lara Sue Russell, was an angel to Edith. She would cook, shop and take her for doctor's appointments without ever complaining. I'd drop by and see Edith when I could but not as often as I wanted but Edith and I would always talk about how lucky Edith was to have Sue always looking after her. Edith would always tell me how Sue was go good to her and how much she appreciated all she did for her. When I couldn't visit I would send Edith cards to let her know she was in my prayers and then we would talk on the phone at different times. She loved getting cards and always would call to thank me for sending them. I pray that her and Ed are enjoying each other's company again and God has welcomed Edith as he did Ed. Prayers of Thankgiving for all that Lara Sue did for Edith and all the others that helped with Edith's care. Nancy and Wayne Beck
