Loyd Clendenon, Jr., age 82 of Spencer, Tennessee passed from this life on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at his home.
Jr. was born Thursday, March 5, 1936 in Spencer, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Loyd Clendenon and the late Eula Hitchcock Clendenon.
Jr. is survived by his:
wife - Shirley Sullivan Clendenon
3 daughters - Debbie Gray and husband Toby
Beverly Ross
Lanie Beck and husband Terry
2 sons - Larry Clendenon and wife Teresa
Barry Clendenon and wife Gayla
14 grandchildren - Johnny Gray, Justin Gray, Jamie Walling, Kelly Bridges, Brian Kilgore, Jason Kilgore, Robin Kilgore, Megan Russell, Keith Clendenon, Leigh Whitefield, DJ Clendenon, Christopher Clendenon, Shayla Clendenon, and Mayla Clendenon
25 great grandchildren
3 great great grandchildren
3 step grandchildren - Tim Ross, Paul Ross, and Lisa Basham
2 sisters - Ruby DeCoursey and Juanita Shockley
brother - Cleston Clendenon and wife Audrey
sister-in-law - Rosella Clendenon

In addition to his parents, Jr. was preceded in death by 3 brothers Milton Clendenon, Harold Clendenon, and Jewell Clendenon, 5 sisters Hazel Shockley, Francis Sullivan, Martha Hale, Betty Keener, and Clata Ray Clendenon, 2 brother-in-laws James Shockley and Arthur DeCoursey, and a son-in -law Larry Ross
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday at Spencer Funeral Home with William Shockley officiating. Interment will be in Molloy Cemetery, Spencer, TN.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 9 PM on Saturday, July 28, 2018, and again Sunday from 9 AM to 2 PM at Spencer Funeral Home, 16000 Hwy 111 N., Spencer, Tennessee.
