Willie "Billie" Ruth Martin, age 90 of Spencer, Tennessee passed from this life on Thursday, September 24, 2020, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee.
Billie Ruth was born Thursday, November 7, 1929 in Spencer, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Measles and the late Pearl Mannard Measles.
She was a member of the Spencer Church of Christ.
Billie Ruth is survived by her:
3 daughters - Janice Clayton and husband Jackie
Brenda S. Banker
Glenece Crable and husband Jim
daughter-in-law - Cathy Martin
sister - Alma Jean Sparkman
5 grandchildren - Jackie Sue Hendrickson, April Banker, Heather Banker Bryant, Ronnie Dodson, and Lee Dodson
3 great grandchildren
Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
In addition to her parents, Billie Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Martin, two sons James Martin and Larry Gene Martin, sister Jennie Rhea Davis, four brothers A.C Measles, Jim Measles, Burl Measles, and Clyde Measles.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday at Spencer Funeral Home located at 16000 Hwy 111 N. Spencer, Tennessee 38585 with the R.C. Christian officiating. Interment will be in Spencer Town Cemetery, Spencer, TN.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 27, 2020, at Spencer Funeral Home, 16000 Hwy 111 N., Spencer, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in her honor to the Spencer Town Cemetery.
