Thelma Rhea Walling Sullivan, age 84 of Spencer, Tennessee passed from this life on Friday, January 19, 2018, at her home.

Thelma was born Wednesday, February 1, 1933 in the Piney Community, Spencer, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Walling and Ola Hitchcock Walling.

She was a member of the Shockley Church of Christ, and a loving mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker and cook at Camp Clements for many years. She also was a bookkeeper for Walling's Cash Store and Sullivan's Sawmill for over 65 years.

Thelma is survived by her:
husband of 63 years - Johnny Sullivan
4 sons - David Sullivan
Darrell Sullivan and wife Linda
Don Sullivan and wife Diane
Doug Sullivan and wife Tammy
11 grandchildren - Brandy Delon and husband Keith, Johnathan Sullivan, Sky Driver and husband Gary, Holly McKinney and husband R.J., Justin Sulllivan and wife Sarah, Zack Sullivan, Corie Sullivan husband Mark, Brooke Hicks, Cordell Sullivan and wife Angeala, Sydney Sullivan and Adrian Sullivan
15 great grandchildren
3 great great grandchildren
2 brothers - James Walling and Dan Walling
many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Debbie Sullivan, brother William Walling, sister Alma Baker, two special nieces Sara Baker and Rosemarry Lee and a grandson-in-law Adam Hicks

A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday at Spencer Funeral Home with the Wayne Sullivan and William Shockley officiating. Interment will be in Shockley Cemetery, Spencer, TN.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 9 PM on Sunday, January 21, 2018, and again Monday from 8 AM to 1 PM at Spencer Funeral Home, 16000 Hwy 111 N., Spencer, Tennessee.
