Ruby Lucille Smith, age 84 of Spencer, Tennessee passed from this life on Sunday, June 23, 2019, at Life Care Center of Sparta in Sparta, Tennessee.
Ruby was born Friday, August 24, 1934 in Dunlap, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Rubin Stinnett and the late Susan Russell Stinnett.
Ruby is survived by her:
2 sons - Gary Smith and wife Kim
Ronnie Smith
7 grandchildren - Trudy Smith, Chris Smith, Jody Smith, Shane Smith, Jason Smith, Brian Smith and Erica Evans
15 great grandchildren
7 great great grandchildren
2 sister Ruth Hare and Ollie Solar
many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in by her husband Fred Smith, 3 sons Donnie Smith, Randy Smith, and Douglas Smith; daughter Patricia Smith two sister Dorothy Green, Beulah MaeMcCollum; four brothers Lawson Eugene Stinnett, Billy Stinnett, Albert Stinnett, and Jackson Stinnett. grandson Ronnie Dewayne Smith, and a great granddaughter Shalla Smith.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Spencer Funeral Home with Wayne Sullivan officiating. Interment will be in Spencer Town Cemetery, Spencer, TN.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 9 PM on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, and again Wednesday from 8 to 11 AM at Spencer Funeral Home, 16000 Hwy 111 N., Spencer, Tennessee.
