Rickey Eugene"Johnson" Simmons, age 62 of Spencer, Tennessee passed from this life on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at his home.
Rickey was born Friday, February 5, 1954 in Spencer, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Joe Paul Simmons and Anna Mae Hodge Simmons.
Rickey is survived by his;
4 sisters, Wanda Crough of McMinnville,
Linda Pettit and husband Keith of Spencer
Sandy Measles and husband Johnny of Spencer
Karen Moffitt of Spencer
2 brothers - Donnie Simmons and wife Annetta of Spencer
Eric Simmons of Spencer
sister-in-law - Jessie Simmons
several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a special caregiver Nathan Ford
In addition to his parents, Rickey was preceded in death by 2 brothers A.C. Simmons, and Joe Darrell Simmons, brother-in-law - Ray Crough, nephew Colby Turner, and a niece MaKayla Hale.
A Funeral service will be at 2 PM on Friday at Spencer Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Sodom Cemetery, Spencer, TN.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 9 PM on Thursday, May 5, 2016, and Friday from 8 AM to 2 PM at the Spencer Funeral Home, 16000 Hwy 111 N., Spencer, Tennessee.
