Mary Ruth Davis, age 92 of Spencer, Tennessee passed from this life on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at NHC Healthcare of Sparta in Sparta, Tennessee following an extended illness.

Mary was born Saturday, August 20, 1927 in Spencer, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late William Mills and the late Vina Haston Mills.

Mary is survived by her:
son - Joe Bob Mills and wife Judy Mills
grandson - Kent Mills
great grandson - Matthew Mills and wife Allison
step great granddaughter - Lindsey Tuttle and husband Aaron
3 great great grandsons - Samuel, Asher and Ira
Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband R.T. Davis, three sisters Ivory Baker, Emma Lou Baker, and Edna Shockley, four brothers Claude, Edd Gaines, Lane, Dennis, and John Sam Mills. She was also preceded by Shelby Mills, Sandra Mills, and Jill McClung.

A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Spencer Funeral Home located at 16000 Hwy 111 N. Spencer, Tennessee 38585 with Gene Brock officiating. Interment will be in Crain Hill Cemetery, Spencer, TN.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at Spencer Funeral Home, 16000 Hwy 111 N., Spencer, Tennessee.
