Obituary for Leonard Clifton Boyd
Leonard Clifton Boyd, age 81 of Spencer, Tennessee passed from this life on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Leonard was born Thursday, February 8, 1934 in Sparta, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Joe Boyd and Maggie Guy Boyd.
Leonard is survived by his;
wife - Norma Lee Boyd
2 sons - Dale Boyd
Joey Boyd and wife Ann,
4 grandchildren - Chad Boyd and wife Haley, John Boyd and Courtney, Kyle Boyd, and Beth Norris and husband Brandon
5 great grandchildren - Kylie, Brack, Layla, Karalyne, and Hunter
2 special nephews - Jerry and wife Thelma Boyd, and Danny Lee
3 sister-in laws - Gaynell Conner, Wanda, and Carl Shockley, and Louise Boyd
2 brother-in-laws - Charles Lee, and Billy Joe Lee and Judy
many nieces, nephews, cousins other family members and friends also survive.
In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by brother and sister-in-law Jr. and Lillian Boyd, and a brother Bobby Boyd.
The funeral service will be at 2 PM on Sunday at Spencer Funeral Home with Wayne Sullivan officiating. Interment will be in Shockley Cemetery, Spencer, TN.
The family will receive friends from 11 AM to 9 PM on Saturday, December 26, 2015, and Sunday from 9 AM to 2 PM at the funeral home.
