Lansford Gene Forsythe, age 83 of Spencer, Tennessee passed from this life on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at his home.

He was born Friday, May 14, 1937 in Spencer, Tennessee, he was the son of the late William Henry "W.H." Forsythe and the late Velva Medley Forsythe.

Lansford was retired from Spencer Shirt Manufacturing. He was a business owner and a farmer. He was a member of Clark's Chapel Church of God. Foremost, Lansford was a devout christian. His entire life was dedicated to the Lord, his family and hard work.
"Pa" was his favorite title, as his grandsons were his pride and joy.

Lansford is survived by his:
wife of 60 years - Carol June Madewell Forsythe
son - Lansford Paul Forsythe and wife Wendy
3 grandsons - Lansford Draven Forsythe and Zoe, Colton Briley Forsythe and Emalee, and Maddox Colt Forsythe.
one great grandson - Rylan Case Forsythe
great granddaughter upcoming - Rubye Kate
4 sisters - Willene Brock and husband Sam, Mamie Barlow, Freda Young, and Sally Lockwood
brother - Donald Forsythe and wife Shella
special niece - Thelie Madewell
Many other family members and friends also survive.

A graveside service will be at 1:00 PM on Sunday at Hodges Cemetery located at Hodges Cemetery Rd. Spencer, Tennessee 38585 with Jason Stevens officiating. Interment will be in Hodges Cemetery, Spencer, TN.
