Johnnie Ray  Morris
Johnnie Ray Morris, age 87 of Spencer, Tennessee passed from this life on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at NHC Healthcare of Sparta.

Johnnie was born Monday, February 10, 1930 in Dayton, Tennessee, he was the son of the late John Morris and Evie Simmons Morris.

He was a member of the Brockdell Church of God.

Johnnie is survived by his:
wife of 33 years - Annette Hitchcox Morris
sister - Mary Lynn Bumbalough
step son-in-law - Doris Dukes
3 sister-in-laws - Vivian Webb
Sue "Eliza" Melvin Walker
Rebecca Morris
step-daughter - Tammy Steele
2 step-granddaughters - Tosha Dukes
Jouri Steele
several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

In addition to his parents, Johnnie was preceded in death by his first wife Bertha Morris, step-daughter Wanda Dukes, 2 sisters Delphia Russell and Hazel Morris, 5 brothers - Brady, Billy, Bobby, Minnie, and Claude Morris.

A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 17th at Spencer Funeral Home with David Rogers and Jimmy Walker officiating. Interment will be in Hitchcock Cemetery, Pikeville, TN.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 9 PM on Friday, September 15, 2017, Saturday 8 AM to 9 PM, and again Sunday from 8 AM to 2 PM at Spencer Funeral Home 16000 Hwy 111N Spencer 38585
