Jewell Dean Slatton, age 88 of Spencer, Tennessee passed from this life on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Generations Center of Spencer in Spencer, Tennessee.
Dean was born Saturday, October 1, 1932 in Spencer, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Henry McBride and the late Nettie Roberts McBride.
Dean is survived by her:
3 daughters, Judy Moffitt, Janice Rigsby and husband Kenneth, and Debbie Troglen
2 sons, Bobby Dale Slatton, Dennis Slatton and wife Faye
9 grandchildren
23 great grandchildren
many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
In additon to her parents, Dean was preceded in death by her husband Robert Slatton, granddaughter Tina Roxann Brock, two brothers Robert McBride and Doyle McBride and two sisters Birdie Measles, and Ersie Davis.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday at Spencer Funeral Home located at 16000 Hwy 111 N. Spencer, Tennessee 38585 with Gene Brock and R.C. Christian officiating. Interment will be in Spencer Town Cemetery, Spencer, TN.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 8 PM on Thursday, April 22, 2021, and again Friday from 8 AM to 1 PM at Spencer Funeral Home, 16000 Hwy 111 N., Spencer, Tennessee.
