Glenna Kay Dean, age 77 of Sparta, Tennessee passed from this life on Sunday, December 20, 2015, at her home.
Glenna was born Wednesday, December 7, 1938 in Spencer, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Cleveland Hillis and Geneva Johnson Hillis.
Glenna was a member of the Church of Christ.
Glenna is surivived by her;
son - Ricky Dean and wife Teresa
daughter - Sherry Hawkins and husband David
8 grandchildren - Allen Dean and wife Brittany, Logan Dean, Cody Dean, Daniel Thompson, Kaycie Thompson, David Dewayne Hawkins and wife Marissa, Alicia White and husband Chris and Tiffany Wilson and husband R.J.
4 great grandchildren - Kruz Thompson, Reanna White, Joseph White and Jacob White
5 brothers - Donnie Hillis, Stanley Hillis, Douglas Hillis and wife Bonnie, Hugh Hillis and wife Charlotte, and Marty Hillis and wife Zeda
2 sisters - Sue Grissom and Sharon Shockley
Many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends also survive.
The funeral service will be at 11 AM on Wednesday at Spencer Funeral Home with William Shockley officiating. Interment will be in Shockley Cemetery, Spencer, TN.
The family will receive friends from 3 PM to 9 PM on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, and Wednesday from 8 to 11 AM at Spencer Funeral Home.
