Obituary for Elma Lou Hale (Yates)

Elma Lou Hale, age 85 of Spencer, Tennessee passed from this life on Sunday, April 17, 2016, at her home.

Elma born Thursday, April 2, 1931 in Spencer, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Mike Yates and Alma Sullivan Yates.

Elma is survived by her;
brother - Gene Yates
2 sisters - Daisy Presley
Jewell Myers
2 daughters - Stella Hankins
Hollie Kell
son- Steven Hale
5 grandchildren
7 great grandchildren
several great great grandchildren, other family members, and friends also survive.

In addition to her parents Elma was prededed in death by her husband Glenn Hale, granddaughter Joy Green, 2 brothers James Yates, and Ed Yates.

A Funeral service will be at 2 PM on Thursday at Spencer Funeral Home with Denton Martin officiating. Interment will be in Long Cemetery, Spencer, TN.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 9 PM on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, and Thursday from 8 AM to 2 PM at Spencer Funeral Home, 16000 Hwy 111 N., Spencer, Tennessee.
