Ella B. Oakes, age 78 of Spencer, Tennessee passed from this life on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at her home.

Ella was born Thursday, March 24, 1938 in Spencer, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Braddie Sullivan and Audrey Lawson Sullivan.

Ella is survived by her;
2 sons - Bayless E. Sullivan Jr. of Spencer
Ronnie Oakes and wife Shirley of Spencer
2 daughters - Treva Allen of McMinnville
Patricia Medley and husband Ray of Pikeville
2 grandchildren - Dalton Sullivan and Ellana Sullivan of Spencer
special cousins - Ralph Sullivan and wife Patricia of Spencer
many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive

In addition to her parents, Ella was preceded in death by her husbands Authur Pierce, Bayless Sullivan and Charles L. Oakes, son Gregory A. Pierce, daughter Ella Christia Bailey, brother Braddie Sullivan Jr., and a sister Iva Jean Madewell.

A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at Spencer Funeral Home with Johnathan Hankins officiating. Interment will be in the Spencer Town Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 9 PM on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, and Wednesday from 8 AM to 1 PM at Spencer Funeral Home, 16000 Hwy 111 N., Spencer, Tennessee.
