Elbert Ray Kerr, age 75 of Tullahoma, Tennessee fromally of Spencer passed from this life on Friday, July 7, 2017, at Unity Medical Center in Manchester, Tennessee.

Ray was born Wednesday, July 1, 1942 in Spencer, Tennessee, he was the son of the late William Kerr and Mendie Lourene Simmons Kerr.

Ray is survived by his:
daughter - Felisha Newsom and husband Malcolm
2 sons - Phillip Darrell Kerr
Stacey Ray Kerr
11 grandchildren
23 great grandchildren
5 sisters Betty Sullivan and husband FL
Ruth Dodson and husband Charles
Shirly Filo and husband Jack
Marilyn Harris and husband Buster
Katherine Frady
many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his 2 sons Terry Lynn Kerr James David Kerr, 3 brothers William "Bill" August Kerr, John Edward Kerr, and James Clifton Kerr, 2 sisters Mary Goode, and Judy Sullivan

A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday at Spencer Funeral Home with Bro. William Prichett officiating. Interment will be in Spencer Town Cemetery, Spencer, TN.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 9 PM on Sunday, July 9, 2017, at Spencer Funeral Home, 16000 Hwy 111 N., Spencer, Tennessee.
