Obituary for Delma Louise Shockley
Delma Louise Shockley, age 89 of Spencer, TN passed from this life on Sunday, January 10, 2016, at River Park Hospital in McMinnville.
Delma was born Tuesday, October 5, 1926 in Spencer, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Shockley and Cleo Wilson Shockley.
Delma is survived by her:
daughter - Louise Boyd of Spencer
granddaughter - Carolyn Rogers and husband Mitchell of Spencer
grandson - Eshane Cooley and wife Angie of South Carolina
great grandchildren - Shawn and Molly Cooley and Lorie Evans of South Carolina, and Canan and Alax Rogers of Spencer
Great Great Grandchildren - Skylar and Gracie Evans of South Carolina
3 sisters - Clata Redmon of Doyle, Kathleen Sullivan, Lorene Clendenon and husband Jewell of Spencer
2 sister-in-laws Juanita Shockley and Barbara Shockley
good friend Betty Lon Sullivan
many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
In addition to her parents, Delma was preceded in death by her sister Charlie May Walling, 2 brothers James and Lloyd Shockley, a great grandson Noah Cooley, 3 brother-in-laws Ardward Redmon, Dewey Sullivan and Henry Earl Walling.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday at the Spencer Funeral Home with Glenn Wilson, Jim Grissom and Joe Crosby officiating. Interment will be in Molloy Cemetery, Spencer, TN.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 9 PM on Thursday, January 14, 2016, and Friday from 8 AM to 1 PM at the funeral home.
