Austin Pete Sullivan Sr., age 89 of Spencer, Tennessee passed from this life on Monday, December 26, 2016, at Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital in Sparta, Tennessee.
Austin was born Thursday, September 1, 1927 in Spencer, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Jim Parker Sullivan and Victory Lee Yates Sullivan.
Austin is survived by his:
2 daughters - Mickey L. Greene and husband Michael
Victory L. Sullivan
2 sons - Rickie Sullivan and wife Christine
Austin P. Sullivan Jr. and Cindy York
10 grandchildren, Monica, Maddy, Danny, Derrick, Brittany, Rickie Jr., James, Courtney, Shannon, and Heather
21 great grandchildren
4 brothers - Leaton Parker Sullivan and wife Ann
William Scott and wife Lucille
Bobby Scott and wife Gloria
Harold Scott and wife Margaret
sister - Marie Scott
special friend - Judy McGlothen
many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
In addition to his parents, Austin was preceded in death by his 3 brothers Everett Sullivan John Henry Sullivan, and Carl Scott, 2 sisters Delma Gilbert and Elvina Davis
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday at Spencer Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sodom Cemetery, Spencer, TN.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2016, and again Friday from 9 to 11 AM at Spencer Funeral Home, 16000 Hwy 111 N., Spencer, Tennessee.
