Alice Marie Allen, age 77 of Spencer, Tennessee passed from this life on Friday, March 12, 2021, at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Marie was born Monday, February 14, 1944 in Spencer, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Martin Hale and the late Birdie Dishman Hale.

4 grandsons, Allen Schleif, Tony Schleif and wife Paula, Josh Barnes and wife Tiffany, and Austin Allen
3 granddaughters, Jeniffer Flatt and husband Jonathan, Jessica Govero and husband Jeremy, and Carla Patton and husband Randy
2 great grandsons, Isaac Flatt, Isaac Young
2 great granddaughters, Harper Marie Flatt, Grace Love
2 brothers, Ray Hale and wife Linda, and Billy Hale
Many other family members and friends also survive.
In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband Lawson I Allen, daughter Glenda Schleif, four brothers William Lee Hale, Martin Hale Jr., Isaac Hale, and Thomas Hale and three sisters Elcie May Hale, Lorine Hale, and Lily Jane Hale Rogers.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Spencer Funeral Home located at 16000 Hwy 111 N. Spencer, Tennessee 38585 with Jason Stevens. Interment will be in Shockley Cemetery, Spencer, TN.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, March 14, 2021, and again Tuesday from 8 AM to 2 PM at Spencer Funeral Home, 16000 Hwy 111 N., Spencer, Tennessee.
Everyone is required to wear a mask while at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers Marie has ask donations be made to the American Cancer Association.
